Project Summary
Cat4GtL Project (Continuous catalytic reactor for the Gas-to-Liquid process using NETmix technology) has the main goal of researching and developing novel catalytic concepts for Gas-to-Liquid (GtL) applications, involving both the development of catalysts and micro-reactor prototypes based on the NETmix technology, along with their potential for industrialization. This project intends to provide global integrated solutions for GtL units at small-scale, capable of being implemented in Oil and Gas exploration platforms, remote gas production sites, and oil refineries (current and next generation). The reactor will provide a compact, modular and energy-efficient solution for the continuous production of high-quality synthetic fuels through the Fischer-Tropsch reaction using syngas (CO and H2).
